Sims 4 Expansions not working

Hi, I bought the base game myself through origin and when I went through the steps (and downloaded all three expansion packs) nothing is happening? It's not even like it's not working, the game opens up fine it's just that nothing at all happens it's really strange.
I had the same problem when I had a pc, but now I've got a macbook and I was just wondering if anyone could help?

Also I tried to use the wine skin fix but every time I try to use the Sims4.exe file for it, it just comes up as this No new executables found!

Maybe the installer failed...?

If you tried to install somewhere other than C: drive (drive_c in the wrapper) then you will get this message too.  All software must be installed in C: drive.

Please help
