The Sims 3 Expansions not Working. [SOLVED]

So, I don't know if it is because I couldn't find the install files for any of the expansions on the "ultimate fix" file or I need to look closer at the "# Installation Guide," but I cannot play any of the expansions that I downloaded.

*facepalm* Apparently my blond self didn't think that actually DOWNLOADING the expansions would help...... Sorry

Now i have another problem. So I'm trying to install Sims3_1.2.7.00002_from_1.0.631.00002.exe on World Adventures, but when i start it, it says: dfc-gorilla error
Invalid file found.

wtf i restarted my PC and it worked just fine
