Does Sims 4 downloads work on Mac?

Hi guys,
Can I install the Sims 4 download on my Mac, following the steps in a similar fashion, or is it completely different?
Does anyone have a solution if I can't download them as a Windows would allow?

Look in the Mac sector on this forum.
There are some possibilities via Wine or so.
I have no Mac so can't really helpt you.
