In-game objects go missing after building in TS4. [SOLVED]

So, I noticed this:

When I build a kitchen and place the popcorn machine and the "Tea magical brewer" (at least I think it's called that) , they go missing like they never existed after a while. This occurs usually when I exit the game and enter again, or when my controlled Sim visits another lot and then returns back home. After that these items don't appear on my household inventory, and funny thing is I keep making sure I have the kitchen door locked (just to make sure they don't get stolen or anything).  

I have installed G4TW's version of the game and the fixes. Everything runs smoothly except from this bug. Is it something I did wrong and can be corrected?

Does the bug occur just with these 2 items? If everything else works fine, it could be a glitch that needs to be fixed in a future patch for TS4. You could go under Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 and delete the localthumbcache.package file as well, and then play the game again to see if anything improved.

But unless you find more items to be "missing", I don't suggest you use the method (a.k.a. "never fix anything unless it's really broken", you get the idea).

Yes, as far as I checked these two are the only problematic items. I will go ahead and delete the localthumbcache.package file, and if that doesn't work I'll keep replacing the items! Thank God there's Motherlode (didn't know I could rhyme)!


Edit: Tested the game after deleting the file I was told to, and it made no difference. Maybe Houdini is a neighbor! I'll just continue as before! Thanks for the help though!

Sorry for the late reply, but the game is so marginal in its content anyhow, that you may not even notice an item or two missing (sounds like a paradox, but I myself at least don't pay much attention).
