Sims 3 Store Update Problem

Hey, I downloaded your Sims 3 store update (upto July 2011) and followed the instructions of copying and pasting all the items into the downloads folder as instructed, then install all of them (I copied all items available into the downloads and installed all of them). Now the game runs perfectly fine with all of the store items running perfectly as I know of. But, when I quit the game, the store items are all uninstalled and remain in the download folder ready to install agian. Is there anyway I could possible permenantly install the items and continue to the paly them without having to install the items every time I open the launcher?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
