The sims 3: custum contend wont show up!!

I have dune everything they say you sould do but it wont show up!
What am i doing wrong >.<
I have followd this: simswiki info guide.
But it still wont work!!

What kind of files are you installing, .package or sims3pack files?

Hello,
The information you looked up on simswiki is for package files. Sims3packs don't go to the same location as package files.
I'm sorry I didn't look at this sooner.
You need to copy any sims3pack files to C:\Documents and Settings\[your pcname]\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads, then open the launcher.
They also need to be removed from the folder you put them in earlier. I suggest removing the framework simswiki made you install.

Sims3Pack files in Downloads folder? Isn't that just for The Sims 2?

If you klick the files they install themself sort of and they end up in the download flder. but as i said my game wont start now for some reason.

Ok so are these user created or official store content. Store content should be ok but user created content has to be updated for Pets compatibility.
Nope they definitely go in the downloads folder in my documents.
