"no game disc found" the sims 3 pets error

I installed the sims 3 pets and used the crack files from your fix on the sims 3 base game folder, it should work fine but I still get the "no game disc found please insert the sims 3 pets disc" error...

I have tried to enter the game tthrough the launcher and through the crack file and nothing seems to work...
do you have any idea of what might be causing this problem?

but as written on top I have placed the crack in the base game folder as is written in the link that you posted...
but the game still fails to work.

Yes, I did read that, but if you place the crack in the correct folder, the game should work fine.
Please post a screenshot of the folder where you copied the crack to. After that, please contact me via the Forum's chatbox when you see me online. I'll see what I can do for you via TeamViewer.
