Hello,

I installed the game (and the expansion packs / stuff packs) as you described it in the PDF and applied the ultimate fix. However, whenever I start the game, I get a pop-up "It looks like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of The Sims 3. We recommend that you either uninstall these game modifications of get updated versions or them - otherwise you may experience crashes or significant bugs." I went ahead and click continue - about 5 minutes, the game would freeze and crash. Gives me a message from Windows error reporting saying that the The Sims 3 had crash. Yes, I'm using the latest version of the ultimate fix.

Just wondering what can I do to fix this?

Hello,
First of all, the latest fix is for base game version 1.29, yours is 1.26 (game versions for the expansions don't matter at this point) so I think you should reapply the fix and make sure the 1.29 patch installs correctly before copying the crack.

Side-note: be sure to download the LATEST version of the Fix, it has been updated recently. (So NOT the temporary Fix)
