sims 3 service initialization failed

sims 3 service initialization failed

ok so this is what i did:
1. mounted sims 3 and all expansions up to town life stuff
2. installed the sims and all the expansions
3. updated game to version 1.29
4. installed the #crack items from the fix into the base game folder
after all this i am still getting this message. i have tried many different ways to get this to work and im getting a bit discouraged so if anyone could help i would really appreciate it. thanks

Hello,
Please remove the Temporary Fix if you have it applied.
If not, please download and apply the latest version of our Fix, which can be found here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems
The problem is, whenever you update, the old crack becomes incompatible with the current game.

It finally worked!! thank you sooo much!
i just have one other question...if i were to download and install the sims pets would i have to redownload the fix and reinstall it?
