Yes, with downloads you should never register your game.
For some games a registrationcode is required but that has nothing to do with registering your game with EA Games, Maxis or Electronic Arts.

I already updated the game and i will install expansions and stuff packs. i currently can't start the game, because it's telling me to register and if i go offline it tells me that i can only register online and doesn't start, so the fix fixes that? or is it fixed with something else?

I'm not that familiar with the G4TW downloads for the Sims 3. From what I've seen you must install every EP and SP separately, apply cracks, insert installationcodes etc.
It's much easier to download an all-in-one version whereby you install all expansions and stuff packs together with just 1 mouse click.

After completion of the direct download (no torrent):
Mount the download in Poweriso or Daemon
Click on Setup and follow the instructions on the screen

You're being asked for a registration code, because the crack is compatible only when you have at least one of the newer Expansion or stuff packs. That is, Generations or later. Once you've installed at least one of those, and use the crack (not cracks) from the Fix, you should have no problem starting the game.

Thank you! I didn't use any crack yet, and only have the base game (version 67), i just wanted to know if i'm not wasting time trying to make it work
