Sims 3 Launcher: 'There was an error during startup...'
Hi. First, I just want to say that I speak spanish so i apologize if you guys don't understand me. Well, I have a problem with the launcher. Everything was okay but today I opened the Launcher and there was a message: 'There was an error during startup. Please see the Log for more details'. So i searched for a while in the forum until I found the fix here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t6052-there-was-an-error-during-startup-please-see-the-log-for-more-details-fix I followed every single step. The problem is here, I have installed the base game, University Life, Seasons, Island Paradise and Late Night...
Then I followed the other steps until I got there:
So, as you can see there isn't an EP or SP that I haven't installed. I mean, I have those EP and I play with them, etc... What should I do, cause in the link it says that the message appears because of a deleted EP or SP but I haven't deleted any of them. So there's nothing I should 'delete'. What can I do?

Hello,
Welcome to the forum.
Did you make any recent changes to your game? It could be as simple as adding a mod or CC. Best thing you can do to start with, is try to start your game with a clean folder.
Go to Documents\Electronic Arts and rename the folder The Sims 3. Can be anything you like.
The point of doing this, is to let your game generate a new folder upon starting, so if that actually works, you can go to the renamed folder, and move your saves, mods and downloads to the new one.
Please let us know if this works.

I have a new problem, this time with the downloads, I moved the downloads, saves, etc. to the new folder but the downloads don't appear in the launcher or in the game.

Hello,
Did the downloads folder that you moved replace the one that was already in there, or did it appear next to it?
Simplest thing to do is, perhaps, generate a clean folder again, and instead of moving the entire Downloads folder from the old one to the new one, open the Downloads folder, select everything inside, and copy them to the Downloads folder in the clean folder.
