QUESTION ABOUT TODDLER ALTERNATIVE
Hi I was trying to follow the directions on the Toddler Alternative link and when I started to download the ZClient, this popped up:
You are about to install a certificate from a certification authority (CA)
calming to represent:
ZLO
Windows cannot validate that the certificate is actually from 'ZLO'. The following number will assist you in this process:
Thumprint (sha1): FA3D24D8 0C71249D B834466F D78E279F A60AE298
Warning:
If you install this root certificate, Windows will automatically trust any certificate issued by this CA, installing a certificate with an unconfirmed thumbprint is a security risk. If you click "Yes" you acknowledge this risk.
Do you want to install this certificate?
Should I click yes? I really really want to be as careful with my computer as I can be.

Re: QUESTION ABOUT TODDLER ALTERNATIVE
I highly doubt G4TW would endorse anything that gives viruses or malware!

Re: QUESTION ABOUT TODDLER ALTERNATIVE
You should select yes if you want to proceed. If you're worried, you can always uninstall the certificate once a proper crack comes out, then scan your PC with Malwarebytes and Windows Defender Offline.
It kind of works like the Vulpeszedra crack for SimCity back then when it was an always-online game. (if anyone remembers that)
Or if you know how, you can try creating a new partition, install Windows on that partition then install ZLOrigin there, or you can try it in a virtual machine, which is much safer, but it won't be able to use your PC's full performance.
Hope this helps!

Re: QUESTION ABOUT TODDLER ALTERNATIVE
You need the certificate to allow ZClient and ZlOrigin to pass your firewall.
A simular thing as in downloading via torrents.
