Confusion about Alternative Installer v2

Hi -- I'm not very experienced with this kind of downloading but I'm trying to use the alternative installer to get certain packs instead of downloading them all.

Before, though, I had downloaded the G4TW packs that I wanted, not really realizing you had to download them ALL for it to work, so I had installed the base game and Get to Work before stopping (but I still have downloads for Cats & Dogs, City Living, Parenthood, and Toddler Stuff too). Then I turned to the alternative installer and now that's what I'm trying to use. I'm running into some confusion.

• Is the no-origin-fix required to get the packs to work? When installing it, it won't let me open the rar, and it tells me it's encrypted and asks for a password.
  
• Is there a certain folder all these files should be in?
  
• If I already have the G4TW packs that I want downloaded, can I still use those or do I have to start from scratch with the installer's packs? I'm confused because G4TW's says that you need all packs for it to work, but this one doesn't, so I'm not sure if they're compatible or how that would work.
  

Sorry this might all be obvious but I work best when there's very specific instructions I guess. If anyone could let me know generally how to go about this it would be great... Thanks for any help.

Nevermind, I just saw the password they gave in their post for the rar, oops.
