Would any real tech savvy programmer here be able to make a program for this?

Firstly sorry if this is in the wrong section (or even site for that matter) but i didn't really know where else to put this, however i'm sure some real smart computer genius here will be able to help me out.

Ok... i recently sold my Xbox One because i'm done with consoles altogether now and to be honest i just want to solely use my PC for my entire home entertainment system (movies, music, gaming, internet, multimedia etc.) I've got it hooked up to my tv via a HDMI cable and already have all those things covered... except for my local free-to-air tv channels.

When i had my Xbone i had one of these tv adapters here and it worked great and i still have it and i was hoping to use it on my PC as a way of watching local tv through my PC, but when i plug it in the PC detects it but then nothing happens. I'm FAR from a PC expert (i only know the basics) so i would be very appreciative if one of you lovely brainiacs could make a driver for it or a program or whatever that allows you to use the Xbone tv adapter to watch tv on your PC... or if there is a way to already then please let me know how. Cheers.

Hey, sorry for taking a few days to get back to you. Umm... unless i've missed something, that link is for stuff about the dongle for using an Xbox One controller on PC (which i have 1 btw) Was there something else there i was meant to see?

I thought you wanted to use this dongle with your PC...

No offence but i thought i explained it in a pretty easy to understand way. Ok... you have heard of the Xbox One tv tuner, right? It's an adapter you plug into your Xbone via usb and the other end to a normal tv antenna and it allows you to watch your local free-to-air tv channels on your Xbone via the OneGuide app.

Well i have one left over from when i used to use it on my Xbone, but now that i sold my Xbone and now just want to solely use my PC as my entire home entertainment system, it just made sense that maybe i could simply plug the adapter into my PC and (using some software or some driver) use it to watch tv on my PC - hence why i asked if any real tech savvy person here might be able to make a program or driver for me because when i plug it in my PC does detect it but then nothing happens... so obviously no current software or application or driver exists for it yet to be used on a PC.

Hope you were able to follow all that. Lol, i know i could just simply plug my tv ariel into my tv itself (which is what i have my PC connected to) but as i said i just want my PC to be like my "central hub" for everything.
