Sims 3 Freezes and Crashes Empty Sims 3 Freezes and Crashes

Hi, I just installed the Sims 3 yesterday with expansion packs Generations, Pets, Seasons, University Life and Late Night. The problem is that the game opens up just fine and the loading screen doesnt take much time. But when i start to create a Household, somewhere in-between it gets stuck and freezes for so long that i have to force close it. Happened thrice in a row today.
I tried the DEP but no change.
I have installed Sims 3 before as well but never something like this happened.
