Game does not respond after startup

So I've been trying to solve this on and off for a few hours on my own, but I can't quite get it working. I downloaded G4TW's Sims 4 and all of the DLC from here, installing them in order as the guide says after making exceptions for my antivirus and all. As soon as I start up the Sims 4 for the first time, I get all of the popups for the various DLCs and add-ons. As soon as I X out of the night stuff add-on popup, the game stops responding. After I close and reopen, the game loads about three tips before freezing as it loads. I've tried to use the temporary fix, moved the folder and fixed the registry, and running everything as administrator. I even deleted the Electronic Arts folder from My Documents and reinstalled the game fresh, but that didn't seem to work either. I'm kind of at a loss here, so any help would be appreciated.
