Game Freezes at startup!

Everytime I try to open the Sims it will freeze right at the startup. And yes, I did download the games in the correct order! There is no error window that pops up and I have to sign out of my computer so I can regain control of it.

Do you have any mods installed?

Same thing is happening to me... It stays stuck in the Sims 4 screen and it just stops responding...

Anyone know what can be causing this?

UPDATE: I removed the Mods from the mods folder and the game actually works... how can I know what mods are the ones affecting it and not letting it run?

Do you experience similar problems when playing other games as well, if I may ask? If so, it could be an indicator of something else being wrong with the computer...
