Unable to load into any lot/play a household. [SOLVED]

I've looked through threads, but I wasn't able to find what exactly i'm facing.

I noticed there was an update for all the new items in the sims 4. I had everything already up to the City Living expansion, then installed the other 3 in order according to the original instructions.

At first my game didn't even load up, and my Windows would state that it stopped working. So I deleted all the mods I had and restarted, then it worked. Created a household of 4, and tried to load into a lot, and it continually loaded. The loading screen was always moving as if it was working, but it would just infinitely stay loading.

So I tried to look around and find some kind of solutions. I went into my Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 and renamed it, to create new files. I loaded up the game, created a new family of 4 and tried to load into a different lot, and it continues to happen.

TDLR: Infinite loading screen after creating household and trying to load into a lot and play; I have tried creating new files and removing all Mods from my game.

I would rather not reinstall everything from scratch, but if I need to I will.

P.S. you actually have to rename the folder "Game", which is located in the directory where you installed TS4. By default, under C:\Program files (x86)\The Sims 4.
