Manual how to install G4TW + Origin + ZLOrigin for the Sims 4 in just 1 folder

Just 1 installation-folder for Origin, ZLOrigin and G4TW downloads

The main disadvantage of pirated downloads for the Sims 4 is not being able to access the Gallery.
Many people therefore decide to buy the base game via Origin but still want the additional DLC's via pirated downloads.

Step 1: Preparation of the installfolder for your pirated games

As you can see from the above picture I have 4 folders Game:

• Game
  
• Game_cracked
  
• Game_Origin
  
• Game_ZLOrigin
  

Just copy your present Game folder and paste it again (it will get a new name Game-copy or Game(1))
Rename that copy to Game_cracked, paste it again and name it Game_Origin. Same with Game_ZLOrigin if you use ZLOrigin as well.

Step 2: Preparation of Origin

When you already used Origin before for the Sims 4, delete the folders (Probably Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4.
Load Origin and go to Application Settings

• Select your language
  
• Set Show Origin after gameplay to OFF
  
• Set Automatic game updates to OFF
  
• Set Automatically Start Origin to OFF
  

Then go to Installs & Saves
In Game Library location, clcik on change folder
Search for the folder where your present pirated game is stored (most probably Program Files(x86)\The Sims 4). Do not select the Sims 4 folder but just Program Files (x86).
In the picture above you'll notice that my installation path is: Z:\Sims\The Sims 4, so my path in Origin would be just Z:\Sims

Now, when it is the first time you use Origin for the Sims 4, go back to the library, rightclick on the picture of the Sims 4 and select Install or Download.
When you used Origin before, rightclick on the picture of the Sims 4 and select Repair.

Step 3: Managing the various Game folders - very important

The folder Game will always contain the details of your most recent update, being from G4TW, Origin or ZLOrigin.
After a succesful update/repair/installation always copy the Bin folder inside the folder Game.
Presume Origin was the last update, delete the Bin folder from Game_Origin and paste the Bin folder from Game
IF your last update was via G4TW, copy the Bin folder from Game, delete de Bin folder from Game_cracked and paste the Bin folder from Game.

Shortcuts

Make shortcuts from TS4 or TS4_x64.exe from Game_cracked, Game_Origin and/or Game_ZLOrigin for your desktop and rename these Sims 4_cracked, Sims 4_Origin, Sims 4_ZLOrigin.
Do not use shortcuts from the folder Game

Problems and advice

When the game versions differ, often the Origin version is higher than the pirated version, you'll get an error starting the pirated version like: Unbale to start ... higher version .. Update via Origin.
Copy the file Default.ini from the folder Game_Origin\Bin to the folder Game_cracked\Bin.

Advice: Do not use the Origin version to play the game, but for accessing the Library only. Don't save the game after using the Origin version as you might loose items in your played games.
