Lag Opening Interaction Menu

I'm experiencing this weird lag when I click on....well, anything, where it takes a few seconds (ranging from 2 to 5) to open the interaction menu. I know it doesn't sound like a lot but when you're clicking a lot of things in a row or just flicking through, it wastes a lot of time and gets really annoying to deal with. In fact, I'm pretty sure its what made me stop playing in the first place (I've just started replaying with the new updates).

Has anyone experienced this issue and knows how to fix it? Is it unfixable?

Um...yeah i had it too. Do you have the cheat UI mod?
which .exe file are you using to open the game?
what bit version is the computer?
and what is the The sims 4 folder path?

Hi there,

You can try lowering your graphics settings or playing in windowed mode to see if it still 'lags'. If you have any mods/CCs try moving them out (though I'm sure the it doesn't cause the lag lol) and see if the performance is better.
