"Cannot place content..." Empty "Cannot place content..."

Hi guys! Since about yesterday, every time I try to place a new lot I downloaded it says "Cannont place content because it was created with a newer version of the game...". I assume it is because Sims was patched. Is the patch going to be released here, or it will just come with the new stuff pack that is coming out in a couple of days. Thanks!

This is currently the latest version. Bought game and cracked game are at the same level.

Hi there,



"Unable to start because contents were created by a newer version" error or something else? If it's the first, delete the GameVersion.txt in your Documents/The Sims 4.

I reinstalled everything (unfortunently I didn't see your post before I did it Sad ) and this one home still says I can not place it, so I give up haha. Maybe it is just that lot. Thanks guys!

Ah, I missed out on the first part. Yes, it could be that the lot is created with the latest version of sims as well. Is your game running fine now? (aside from the lot)  Smile

Just wanted to say I was having this same issue with a few lots I downloaded but once I installed the new Fitness stuff pack from here, it seems to be working now! If you're still having issues, try that out Smile
