Latest version, freezing

I'm having a problem with freezing in the game when trying to open a household (new household not from saved game).
Whenever i put them into a house then choose to play the house with the new household in it it just continuously puts me at the loading screen.
What i've try to resolve this issue is remove all mods and saved games and i made sure i didnt have any player made lots also loaded. This didnt resolve my issue.

What else can i try to fix this?

I am having the same problem. I have tried to load just the base game without any mods, and still nothing happens. Just the loading screen. I have load each add on separately, and still just loading screen. 

What else can I do to play the game besides purchase it from origin?

Pay attention to item 5 of THIS PAGE

The game starts but when I try to play a household its stuck on the loading page. I did all these steps and still nothings changed.
