How I got The Sims 3 to work on Mac. Empty How I got The Sims 3 to work on Mac.

Hi guys, so after almost 4 days of trying to get Sims 3 to work on my mac, I’ve finally done it! Right now I have a Macbook Pro with macOS Sierra ver. 10.12.5, and the game is running smoothly.

I’ll try to be as specific as I can. And also English isn’t my main language so bear with me, but here’s what I did!

NOTE: Please make sure you read everything carefully, especially the Ultimate Fix Installation guide! Follow exactly as the steps shown there!

  •  What to Download:

-       DO NOT download the Sims 3 Complete Collection or the Sims 3 base game from games4theworld. I’ve tried for 3 days with both of these and they just don’t work for mac. INSTEAD you can download the ‘The Sims 3 - Reloaded Mac & Windows’ from piratebay

-       The Ultimate Fix for Mac by G4TW

-       Manual Patch by G4TW

-       AT LEAST ONE expansion as stated by the Ultimate Fix. You can download individually from G4TW download page

-       Keka. Its free, just search up to download

1.     First, open up the Sims 3 reloaded folder to find the ISO file. Double click and this’ll open up the game’s installation page. Follow the steps. For the serial code, open up the reloaded folder and unzip the ‘Crack + Serial’. Open up the document to find a serial. Finish installing.

2.      After Installing, you will need to crack the game. So open up the Ultimate Fix Guide to find the ‘Installation Guide’. Follow the process as shown in step 3 of the fix guide.

3.     Now you have to install any (but at least one) expansions that you want. It is recommended that you install based on the order of release. Right-Click on the expansion RAR folder and extract with Keka. You will get a folder. Next, open Keka from Applications and click on ISO on the menu. Make a volume name for the expansion, then drag the extracted folder to Keka (You’ll see ‘Drop here to compress’). This’ll create an ISO file. Continue these steps until you have ISO files of all the expansions that you want.

4.     So now you have ISO files of the expansions you want. You now need to install them (remember it is recommended to install on order release). Now double click on the ISO file for the expansion and click on the Installer. This will open the installation page for that expansion. Follow the steps. The serial code will be inside the original expansion folder that you extracted. It is in ‘#Installation Guide’. Finish Installing

5.     Now that you’ve installed all the expansions that you want, you will now need to crack each of them. So open up the Ultimate Fix Installation Guide again and follow the steps for each of the expansions that you have installed. So follow steps 4-9 if you have those expansions. Then you MUST follow step 10.

6.     Once you’ve cracked all your expansions, you now have to apply the manual patch. To do that, extract the patch file and you’ll see an Application file. Just double click that and it’ll open up a finder window. Go to Applications, then find the Sims 3 folder, and then find the Sims 3 app. Click update.

7.     And now finally it’s time to crack the game. Open the Ultimate Fix Installation Guide and follow step 13.

8.     After you’ve cracked the game, you can now start playing! Launch the game (might take some time), click yes for the store content update and enjoy playing!

Im not too sure if I can add my tumblr here if anyone has questions? Or to just leave a comment on this topic? Sorry I’m new.

Anyway, Thank you all so much! Especially G4TW and everyone on this forum! I really appreciate it!

When I try and install the expansion packs it says "The version of The Sims™ 3 installed is not updatable and is not compatible with The Sims™ 3 Late Night." This happens for all of them. What do I do?
