missing game pack and stuff pack

PLEASE HELP! I been so anxious to play the vampire update and the bowling pack but for some reason it shows as that I have it but, it says I have to download to use I'm not really sure how to fix this.

So, the game pack is greyed out? Or? What was the DLC that you installed?

I have the exact same problem. The packs show up at the beginning screen, but it tells me that I need to download them first (Vampires and Bowling Night Stuff)

Does it look like this ?

missing game pack and stuff pack Pack-progress_orig

In that case there is a mismatch between the details of your installed packs between the folders Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 (states that you have the pack) and your install folder|The Sims 4\Game\Bin (pack not installed or disabled).
(Download and) install the missing packs again
