Safe to use a mod?
This CAS mod lets you change the height of your Sim. Here's the YouTube video that demonstrates it and provides a link to the mod files: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ov3HGdTLj44
Here's an alternative one: http://cmarsims.blogspot.com/2013/07/sim-height-slider.html
I just got a new computer and re-installed The Sims 3 from backup. I had gotten all the files from here a few years ago, so for example my patch brings me up to version 1.67.
Will I be able to use this mod, or would that be a bad idea?
Thank you!

Hello,
At the time the most you linked to was posted, the 1.67 patch version hadn't been released (it came out in January of 2014). The only way to know for sure is to try. To be even safer, backup your savefiles prior to testing it. When you do test it and you notice anything going strange, exit the game without saving and take out the mod.
