Something's Trouble with Ellacharmed's World Fixes
Greeting G4TW.
First of all, I would like to thank you for providing several great games for free. When it comes to EA, I don't really want to waste money on them so I'd rather use the pirated version against them. I've downloaded several store items from the Downloads server and they work like a treat with Store Fixes.
Now my problem is, I've downloaded Hidden Springs and Lunar Lakes and saw that Ellacharmed has fixes for those neighborhoods. I installed the worlds and applied the fixes right away. But when I started a fresh new game in Lunar Lakes, the custom contents seemed to be gone. For example the science rabbit hole was replaced with the one from base game, not the high tower spaceship. Also several empty houses used the colonial mailboxes from the base game and custom contents in them like dining table, dining chairs, doors, lamps and columns were replaced by the ones from base game as well. Fortunately, I still have the backup of the original world file so I quit the game, replaced the fix with the original one and started a new game. This time the science lot had a proper rabbit hole and several empty houses used the futuristic mailboxes and had the proper custom contents inside and outside. It also happened to Hidden Springs. When I used the world fix, the spa rabbit hole were replaced by the one from base game and the custom contents, such as doors, benches, windows, fountains, and mailboxes were replaced as well.
So I'm wondering why? Could anyone give me some explanation? Do the world fixes cause all custom contents to be replaced with base game for decrapified store worlds? I couldn't ask directly to ModtheSims since I'm afraid I would get banned for using decrapified store worlds.
Thank you.

Hello and welcome to the Forum,
I myself have not used these "world fixes", so I cannot really comment on them. But if you remove those fixes, then your custom content works again? Can you try playing without these world fixes and see how the game performance is?
From what I hear, these world fixes reduce the lagging that is caused by (incorrect) routing issues in these worlds. In the past I played lots of TS3, and my opinion is, if your computer is hardware-wise good enough to cope with the base game and all DLC, it shouldn't be much of an issue in the first place.
But then again, I don't know about your hardware setup; feel free to try - for now - without these world fixes, and let us know how it goes!

Re: Something's Trouble with Ellacharmed's World Fixes
Right now I am playing Hidden Springs without its fix. It has been past two seasons and no problems were occurred so far. I have a bunch of Nraas mods, including StoryProgression. I used to run The Sims 3 with no mods and it was a nightmare. I built my PC four years ago but it's still able to handle The Sims 3 with all EPs very well. I am now only using Bridgeport and Isla Paradiso fixes. Also I heard a lot of complaints about Ellacharmed world fixes, that being said they messed up the lots terrain.
Thank you for your reply. I'll post a new thread if I ever encounter any problem so please close this topic.
