32 bit version crashing (the only version I can use)
I recently updated my game with the fitness pack, I run the 32 bit version typically but when i went to start the game it crashed and kept crashing. So instead I ran the 64bit and got into the game with no problems. However my computer can't really run the 64bit version so the game is extremely laggy which is an issue I wasn't experiencing with the 32. I really good with reading these instructions and then going over them again and again so that I make sure to do things correctly. I must have gone wrong somewhere I'm just not sure where or how.

1. Delete the existing folder Game
2. Re-apply the fitness installation.
2. Re-apply the fitness installation.

The 32-bits version is prone to attacks by your anti-virus whilst the 64-bits is not.
When the game crashes, any errors mentioned perhaps ?

Rename your folder The Sims 4 in Documents\Electronic Arts to The Sims 4_old.MazziCat89 wrote:Just says the sims 4 has stopped working other than that nothing else comes up
Download THIS EMPTY FOLDER, extract with Winrar, rename De Sims 4 to the folder in your language (The Sims 4, Les Sims 4, Die Sims 4, Los Sims 4) and put it in the Folder Documents\Electronic Arts.
Now start your game again as an Administrator.
Fat chance that there will be errors like missing DLC's , but at least the game should start.

Hmm if i remove the game and expansions and stuff and install them all fresh is there a way for me to keep my saved households?

Your households are saved in a folder Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4. Removing the program files of the Sims 4 will not effect this folder.MazziCat89 wrote:Hmm if i remove the game and expansions and stuff and install them all fresh is there a way for me to keep my saved households?
To make 100% sure you can copy the folder to a USB stick or your desktop

Okay I'm going to give it a try before I do anything else and see what happens.
