The sims 2 in game flashing problem

Hi there,

I have a problem with the Sims 2 graphics. Yesterday I installed ''The Sims 2 Complete Collection''. Everything works, except for the graphics. The game isnt lagging, but everytime I move my camera, and the camera stops moving, I see a flash (flashing furniture, flashing sims). That is both in story mode and in map mode (the houses are flashing too everytime the camera stops moving). 

Its VERY annoying, as I said the game is working fine, no errors whatsoever, except for the strange flashing. Can anybode help me with this?

In particular, see the last screenshot in the tutorial. Make sure that all 4 paragraphs (setting $low/$medium/$mediumbutdefaultlow/$high) have the resolution of your screen, that you normally play games on.

However, I ran the game as an administrator, and now the flashing stopped

so for anyone who experiences the same problem, just run the game as an administrator and it should solve the flashing problem.
