Sims 4 Mods Folder [SOLVED]
I noticed that in my mods folder only the files that end in .ts4script work in the game. The .package files that are mods only show up as custom content and don't work in the game. Mods and scripts mods are enabled in my game and my mods folder is located in C:\Users\(Name)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods. What steps do I have to do to fix this problem?

Re: Sims 4 Mods Folder [SOLVED]
Hi,
So far I have only one mod and it has both .package as well as .ts4script and it's working fine for me. I did not add them to subfolders since the instructions mentioned not to.
Perhaps I can test the mod for you? Which mod does not show up in game? Though CCs are mostly hairs/clothes and such so they should appear in CAS.

Re: Sims 4 Mods Folder [SOLVED]
Hey,
I am having similar issues. All the mods I have tried downloading are .package and I can't get them to show in game. I also enabled mods. A thing that can help, as it's said in the download instructions is to NOT install the games in the EA folder. I did not install it there and I have no idea how to get my mods to work. Any tips?

Re: Sims 4 Mods Folder [SOLVED]
Hi @Louisecat ,
By default our games are actually installed to the EA folder, though we moved them out later of course. Do you have a specific mod that I can test out with my games? And are you running the game on MAC or Windows? Since, I saw you have two platforms.

Glad to hear it! Do you have any other bugs in-game or questions before I close the thread?kellidelli wrote:Somehow I was able to get the mods to work. Thanks.
