I have everything from the base game to toddlers, But i am kind of confused as to the guide. Do i need to re download base game-toddlers again?. I don't quite understand what i should do..and since its fairly new update theres not much in the forum yet.

I am pretty confused as well. Before downloading the new update, I had every single expansion and stuff pack, and was updated to 1.31.37, but after downloading the update and starting up the game, I suddenly have nothing but the base game. I wonder, are we supposed to re-download and install every expansion and stuff pack after every new game update? I feel kind of stupid for not knowing what to do, but I am so totally lost!

Oh no! My husband told me to wait a bit and let other people try to get the new update so i can avoid any issues.. lol i am really confused. i dont know why their going about the update this way. The last update was so easy to apply to the game. its just really confusing. let me know if you find a solution please. lol

i downloaded the fix and now i dont have ANY DLC. Sad

Guys, guys, please read the instructions. In bold letters in Red it is clearly stated that the update only fix is ONLY for those players, that wish to play with only the base game. It will delete all DLC's.
Sorry, but you will have to install all DLC's in the orrect order again. Including fixes and stuff you had to do regarding deleting the game folder etc.

Remember, this is only for people who have a slow internet (and cannot easily download the main DLC for the game) and/or slower computers. If you want to install DLC for The Sims 4, DO NOT USE THIS THING. Instead, please follow the guide here instead:

Hi @sugarmagnolia and @mariideggy2394 ,

As Loonieloose had mentioned, the update-only fix will delete any DLCs you have installed thus far.

If you have installed up till Fitness, then, all you need to do is to download the Toddler's stuff pack, then copy + paste them to your game.

Download Toddler's stuff here.
Extract and copy + paste to your Sims 4 installation folder.
Download error code 3 fix here in case you have missing maps later on.

**If you're comfortable, you can delete your current Game and Game_ (if you renamed it before Parenthood) before updating to Tots' Stuff. So there's no confusion about the having too many Game folders. You can also delete the Game folder before copy + pasting my version.

I finally fixed it thank you, but now when i opened the game it was like i didn't add anything, Like it didn't show the new toddler stuff pack. And at the bottom of the menu screen it doesnt say the new update 1.33 it says version local build and it doesnt show the new pets icon. Is my game up to date? everything works fine

Hey did you figure it out?. I finally got it to work... but it didn't do anything new, Like show all the packs and dlcs i added and at the bottom of the screen it has version local build instead of the 1.33 update and no Pets icon.
It took all day long of starting all over again but i got it to work.

You will not see the pets icon. Only if you use the Legit game or the ZLOrigin version. ( I use that one as well, so if I play via ZLOrigin, it's there, play via G4TW , its not.) Pets will only be released sometime in November, so that new pack will only show in colour when its availablel and installed. Until then you have a greyed out icon.
In your Documents, Electronic arts , The sims 4 folder is a text file which gives you the Game version. ( Goes by that name ) just click on it and you should be able to see the game version that is installed.

Oh okay!!!! thank you so much! I really appreciate it. I did get all my DLC back (: Took a while but i got it. I was confused as to why this is only for people who have slow internet or computers, LOL and not everyone who has all DLC, but it's okay... Maybe there will be another fix here soon. i will just play with what i have for now and enjoy it. I don't have a mods folder in my game, How do i get a mods folder? Do i add it myself

All DLC together are more than 20GB in size. Base game + "Update Only Ultimate Fix" are about half in size. It's really only meant for people who want to play with an updated/patched base game, and no DLC. They certainly make up only a minority, but still.

No need to use the "Update Only Ultimate Fix", if you want to go for DLC packs anyhow.

There should be a mods folder in DOCUMENTS / Electronic Arts/ The sims 4. Just check. If you do not have it, you can create one.

When i noticed all my DLC was gone i went back and re read the post about the new fix, Then thats when i seen it will DELETE all DLC. lol it was all my fault being in a hurry!!. Ive learned my lesson. haha. Thanks again. in my DOC/electronic arts folder i have ts3 and 2 TS4 folders, But one is LOS SIMS4 Can i remove the folder?. Ir should i just leave it?

You can remove the los sims 4 Folder Smile

Have you applied the error code 3 fix? This folder will not do any harm, its a spanish version of the game the original crack for toddlers stuff was done by a spanish person I presume. That is why the error code 3 fix was also meant to solve that issue. ( On top of the possible error code 3 which some players experienced. )
