Accessing the gallery with base game?

I'm using game4theworld's version of sims 4 (1.33.38.1020) and I was wondering if it was possible to access the gallery by buying the sims 4 base game and using the gallery on that then switching back to the other version to use. Also if it's important or relevant, I moved my sims 4 folder from programfilesx86 to an SSD(which isn't my C drive).

I think that could work, as the legit copy will be installed to C drive in the electronic arts folder. You should then be able to access the gallery.
