When i try to open the set up for seasons it says this The sims 3 has detected that The sims 3 is corrupted or not properly insatlled please help

Hi there,

Have you made sure to follow the sims 3 guide carefully? Also, when installing the games, you can't change the patch location easily. If you did that, it might give you an error. Try re-extracting the sims 3 complete collection (I'm assuming) again and see if you're able to run the set up now. If you are indeed using the sims 3 complete collection, take note of the guide below.

Read the guide here carefully on installing the Sims 3. At the same time, skip to #4 and download the ultimate fix.
Follow #1 and #2 from the guide above. STOP and open up the installation guide from the ultimate fix.
Afterwards, just follow the guide from the fix, and your Sims 3 will be installed.

actually i didnt know there was a guide when i did the setup so i didnt follow the rules there and i changed the directory of the files that's all i did and when i try to start the game it says unable to start game service initialzation failed (0x0175dcbb)

It might be because you changed the directory when installing the game. If there's no space in the default location (should be C:\), what you can do is (well this is what I always do) to create the folders for the game BEFORE installing. Just make sure the name is the same. I'd recommend you to re-install the game, and if you like to change directory, do the folder method.

Do the folder for base game first. Just create a new folder, and name it 'The Sims 3'.
When you click setup, on any of the EP/SPs, it will open up the install window and ask you where you want to install. Copy the name of the expansion, for example : C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 Ambitions -> It will ask if you want to install it there. If you want to install it somewhere else, say D Drive or external disk, create a new folder, copy 'The Sims 3 Ambitions' and paste when you rename the folder.
Do this for all EPs/SPs you want to install.
Follow the steps I posted below on installing the game.

Does your The Sims 3 basegame happen to be on STEAM? If so, please keep in mind that these TS3 versions are incompatible with (G4TW's) cracked expansions/stuffpacks. You'll need to use a cracked basegame as well.

I see. Are you running the game with a desktop shortcut or directly from the Game\Bin itself? If from the shortcut, make sure that it's pointed to the correct location. If not, this error [unable to start game service initialzation failed (0x0175dcbb)], is possible that there's a problem with the registry itself. Try to re-install the game again, back up any saves/mods you have. You can use Uninstaller Pro from our download site to make sure the game is uninstalled completely, reboot, and then install the game.

now when i open the game with the crack and update only when i start the launcher it says there was an error during startup please see the log for more details

I did the fix and it worked now i installed all the dlc again when i try to opean via launcher it says No game disc found please insert the sims 3 into the future game disc before proceeding

Hey,

So you've installed all the DLCs? Or some of them? It seems that one of the cracked was misplaced to the wrong folder. You can bypass the launcher by following the guide here.
