The Sims 3 corrupted or not properly installed?

So i was doing everything the guide said to do and i was on the second step when this happened "setup has detected that the sims 3 is corrupt or not properly installed"
I installed the sims 3 and did not cracked nor patched and didnt install the ea downloader, then installed Generations, everything ok but when i was going to install the master suite that error appeared. What's the problem? This is like my sixth try in like, 2 years to install sims 3 and expansions but i end up frustrated and always give up.

And my sims 3 is not in english so i don't know if thats the correct traduction of the error, sorry.

From where did you get your base game? Legally bought? Torrented?
If bought, from where? Origin, Steam, store/DVD?

Yeah, that's probably it, i mean, not something that installs the 3 at the same time, but i had to mount the image on ones and just open from the setup others, i don't know if that was the problem... i'm downloading all of the expansions from the site now, thank you
