Using the Ultimate Fix for updating your games to version 1.33.

When you have not installed all DLC's yet and your game version is lower than 1.33 you can update your Game to 1.33 with the Ultimate fix.

1. Copy the file RldOrigin.ini from your installation folder f.e. Program Files\The Sims 4\Game\Bin to your desktop.
2. Then delete the complete folder Game
3. Apply the ultimate fix
4. Again go to your installation folder Game > Bin.
5. Copy the file RldOrigin.ini from your desktop to the Bin folder.

If one has the necessary free hard-drive space available, maybe it's advised to just go ahead and install all DLC according to the guide here:

The game itself is so limited in its gameplay features that most of the people "not wanting all DLC" are presumably those with (oftentimes) small SSD drives, or older computers, and/or slow internet.
