Game stuck on green diamond when moving in.

Game works perfectly fine up until after creating a Sim and selecting a place to live.  Once I select a lot and hit move it gets stuck endlessly on the green diamond. I deleted all my files, installed the game new and still the same problem.  No mods or anything else added to the game.  Very frustrating.

I have the exact same problem! I can't understand why.

did you read the installation guide properly? There is a point where it is stated that you have to rename or delete the game file. Did you do that step?

I'm having the same problem and have the game folder downloaded. 

I tried to run as administrator and it is now in Spanish again aswell...

@millie97, have you applied the errorcode 3 fix? this problem has been adressed on numerous occasions and the possible solution given, which helped in most of the cases.

Hi @liisa @Celoina , 

As Loonieloose had mentioned, there was a step that said you need to either rename or the your Game folder before updating to Parenthood. If you are already up till Toddler's stuff however, just rename the Game to Game_ (in your Program Files(x86)\The Sims 4) and place the new one that was given at the reply above.
