hi there! i was hoping you could help me. i was very excited to install the sims 4 on my new computer, and so i started all of torents, waited ages, and then finally unzipped the first with winRAR, sims 4, as you said i should, and started with the installation instructions. it said to start with 'The_Sims_4_Setup.exe' so i did, and this showed up. screenshot below. can you help me get sims 4 on my computer?

Hi there,

Did you start run the .exe as administrator? Else, try downloading the file again and see if that helps. If not, try the following:

  • Press the windows + R, type Services.msc and press enter.
  • A window will pop-up, go to the Services window -> Windows Installer and right-click it and select Properties.
  • Under general -> Start-up type: choose automatic. Click apply/ok and try running the setup file again.
