Sims 4 Base Game Windows Installer Error

Hi,
I downloaded the base game torrent, and when i go to run the file to install sims 4, a popup comes up that says
"This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package."
How do i fix this???

In your torrent program, have you attempted to have it verify the torrent contents, it could be possible it was missing something. That would be my first thought.

There is no where in BitTorrent to do that. Any other thoughts?
