Lot endless loading

Hello i have currently have ts4 installed onto two computers, mine and my girlfriends. Both have the error code 3 fix installed, and mine has been fixed with no issues thus so far. However my girlfriends versions of the sims works well up until clicking a lot to move into which itll then throw itself into and endless loop. I have double checked the toddler update, with no success and have even replaced the toddler folder completely, while still downloading error code 3 fix of course. Please help.

I'm sure you've done the renaming of the game folders since yours works well. Other than the error code 3 fix, try placing this game folder as well and see if that helps.

Ah i have tried this solution as well, i just forgot to mention it. i am still having no luck getting into the actual lot.

I see. That's abit odd. Does your girlfriend happen to have any mods installed as well? If so, try moving them out and see if the bug persists. Else, do screenshot your Sims 4 folder so we can triple check the files again.

I had the same problem, I tried everything, including re-installing and nothing worked. The last time I tried renaming the game folder, it went from never loading to exiting back to the screen where you pick a world. So I applied the last fix you linked to, again, and now it won't start because origin isn't running. I've moved the entire sims 4 folder to the desktop and always run it as an administrator, if that helps. Any advice on how to proceed from here would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I just removed the excluded folders from my antivirus and added them back. Now it's asking me to update my game through Origin because the contents of my user data directory were created by a newer version of The Sims 4 and they couldn't be loaded.

Hi, I had the same problem.i tried reinstalling and that didn't work. I tried taking out my mods folder and that didn't work as well. So then I decided to just take out "The Sims 4" folder from my documents and that seemed to have worked for me.

Hi @Lisnya ,

Try deleting the GameVersion.txt found in your Documents\The Sims 4 and see if that helps.

@hellitsnina : I see. Perhaps your cause is a corrupted save/setting instead of the mods causing the error for you. But I'm glad to hear that moving out the Sims 4 folder did the trick!

Now it can't tell which packs I have installed and it also says that there are missing data. I did manage to enter a lot, though, so that's fixed.

I have applied the ultimate fix. Now it doesn't think I have any packs installed, yet I can see content from most packs. For example, most worlds are missing. If I go to CAS, all the packs are missing and, when trying to choose an everyday dress, for example, I can only see the tops that came with the base game. But if I try to see all of the tops, not just the ones that are categorized as everyday, I can see most tops the game has. Wtf?

I'm so sorry. You should not have followed any outside links unless the person that puts them know what it's for. The ultimate fix will delete your DLCs and thus I'd suggest you to stay away from it in the future. What is your latest DLC currently? If it's toddler's stuff pack, go to the Game\Bin and copy the RldOrigin.ini OVER to your Sims 4 installation path -> Program Files (x86)\The Sims 4\Game\Bin.

I applied the fix before my DLC's disappeared. I haven't played the Sims 4 since, like, Get Together and I was under the impression that we always had to apply the Ultimate Fix before launching the game. Was I wrong?

I did what you said and now it's back to saying that DLC's are being downloaded. It was also in Spanish but I opened RldOrigin.ini with notepad and I changed the language. Can I just ignore the DLC's are being downloaded pop-up and play?

I think the ultimate before Ciry Living is like a hotfix to solve problems. But the current ultimate fix is for those who only want the base game with the latest game updates, meaning no packs/DLCs.

You can certainly try and go ahead to CAS, and see if those 'downloading' packs are installed. For example Vampire, there will be new hair/clothes related to Vampire in the CAS.

There can't be any packs being downloaded, it looks like the only pack missing is the Cats & Dogs expansion pack. I've ignored it and everything seems to be fine, at least so far. Thanks for all the help!
