Can't run without origin and then when i do use oragin it says to close oragin

So I falowed the read me and the download how to install sims 4 fallowed it to the letter and naw I can not play it at all it tells me origin is not running when I try normaly then when I boot up origin it tells me to shut it down I just whant to play sims 4 what do I do??

all I did was install the base game after in installing and delating everything and I keep getting (the contents of you user data directory were crated buy a newer version of the sims 4 and cannot be loaded pleas update your game via origin to play

Did you install all Sims 4 items, like mentioned in the guide here?

This is important.

Also, if you get the error with the "user data directory", try this. Go under Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4, and delete the file GameVersion.txt. Then try the game again. Good luck!

ok so I keep getting th the point were it tells me to rename the old game file then install the parenthood DLC but when I go to start it up it tells me the game file has this missing or broken and tells me that I need to fix it via Origin

finaly finaly have it all dowloded I can create a sim but for some reason my sim has no funds cant move anaywere and when I finaly go to move in for some reason it dosent let me and makes me go back to create a sim like I don't have a family at all

In general we recommend that people install ALL available updates, not just up to Parenthood. If you installed all the way up to the latest "Laundry Day Stuff" DLC, please try the possible solution here:
