Sims 2: error direct3D

Hi everyone,

I need your help. I installed all the Sims 2 Complete Collection (Following the installation guide carefully, I swear! )
I finally managed to launch the game without a pop up asking the CD (Yeah I was tired I forgot to copy and paste the EP9.exe in the crack folder, but now it's done). BUT new problem, it goes into a white screen, like if soon the "Sims 2" logo will appear or something, but instead an error appear.

"error direct3D invalid call" cannot launch the game. I don't know what is the problem

Do you have any solution ?

Have you tried downloading/installing DirectX9?

Thank you for your help ! Yes I tried to download direct X9. But it didn't work either
