Can´t read any books

Hi! I play the sims 4 games4theworld verision, I have a lot of mods (clothes, furniture, no gameplay mods) and they´ve always worked fine, but now suddenly my sims can´t read anything! I click on the book and select "read", it shows up in the queue but then the sim looks like it resets or someting and the action just disappears. They also change pose and sometimes mood on that picture-thing.
I tried to do a fix I found where you move mods, saves and tray to desktop, delete everything else in the Sims 4 folder, start the game and then put the mods, saves and tray back, it worked for like 10 seconds and then the sims started bugging when I told them to read again.
I really dont want to remove any mods, what should I do? And if I do have to play without mods, how will my game react if I remove the mods, but my sim has like, cc hair? Will they get a randomized regular hair?

first of all, have you added anything new to your modsfolder recently, if yes, that could be it.
Then move the modsfolder out completely and start the game. check if error persists. If not, than it is mod related. If yes, something has happened to the game.

When removing mods, your sims might get game hair, game clothing, skin etc or they might be bald and have underwear on. Check it out..
