Sims 3 Compatibility Error

I've followed the guide instructions for mac turning all my stuff into .DMG's. The base game installed perfectly however the expansions come up with this error "The versions of The Sims 3 installed is not updatable and is not compatible with the Sims 3 World Adventures." Then fails to install.

This happened to you because the version of The Sims 3 might not be up to 1.67. Also this can result if you didn't follow this guide here.
As it clearly says in the step 2, you need to patch the game before installing any expansion or stuff packs. The patcher is located in Ultimate Fix folder.
In case you don't understand, I will explain it to you in a nutshell. You need to, as I said before, patch the game before installing any EP/SP. After you patched DO NOT the crack yet. Install any EP/SP you want before doing so. After you installed, use the crack located in # Crack folder in ultimate fix.

If you still have issues, I'm afraid I can't help because I don't know a lot about Mac.

I completely missed the update but now when I go to update it says the sims 3 isn't installed. I've reinstalled it twice now. This was so much easier when I had a PC haha.
