Is it possible to download mods in the sims 4 and if so, how?

Hello again,

Since the majority of CC/mods for The Sims 4 are in .package file format, you need to put these files basically under C:\Users\(your Windows username)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods.

SIM4...
I started to download Mods and install them in my game play... they work fine when i build and add them.
I started to play the game and it works fine, until i wanted my sim to eat... my couches and tables and fridge is mods, my sim doesn't want to eat.

Anyone please help and explain what i can do to fix that, and if there is any other issues that might happen, and if there is a topic surrounding this please direct me to it so i can figure out everything.

One of those mods that you downloaded is either broken or out of date. You have to test them one by one or 50/50.

Please read through the post, there are detailed instructions on how you do it.
This was one of the errors that came with that game patch. The tool fixes many errors!
