Help! Update to the latest patch & download the remaining Sp's & EP's. [SOLVED]

Hello

I've had The Sims 4 from G4TW for months now.

I've installed TS4 from base game  to the toddlers stuff (SP12) and I wanted to add the newest Cats & Dogs (EP04) & Laundry day (SP13) 

I'm sorry this is very confusing for me as I don't want my saved games to be lost. I've searched everywhere but no one seems to have the same problem as I do (?)

How to install the Cats & Dogs & Laundry Day to my game? Do i need to reinstall everything from scratch or do I just install these two directly?

Also if I did just install these two directly, will it affect my previous saved games? And will it automatically updated to the latest patch?

[ here are my latest TS4 version: 1.31.37.1020]
[ i'm running x64 computer ]
[ i currently have mods installed; which have no problem with the in game]

Version 1.31.37.1020 is upto and incl. Fitness.
So you still have to install Toddlers Stuff (= 1.33.38.1020)
After that you can install Cats & Dogs (=1.36.102.1020) and then Laundry Stuff, which will bring you to version 1.38.49.1020.

These new installations should not affect your saved games.

Alright, so I have Toddlers stuff installed & all I need is to reinstall them, right? Then proceed as above.

Also, I cant find the Laundry Stuff in the /download section.
it's still not available yet?

Hello and welcome to the Forum@Lwr3x0,

I assume you installed your TS4 (that you got so far), from a different source? If so, and in general, you can simply copy/paste the G4TW releases for TS4 DLC, over your existing installation. And make sure to overwrite the existing files when prompted. You can also read up on the latest instructions here: The Sims 4 Must-Read Guide.

As for the download, ALL G4TW releases are typically announced on the Forum here, in the "news" section at the top. The main G4TW website by a different person, and the site is sometimes "out of sync" with the Forum activities here.

Hi  I have tried everything and it did work fine last night   [installed toddler stuff & cats & dogs]

Then I installed Laundry Stuff today and all the packs & stuff I've had were gone. (no screenshot)

so then I inverted back to the Cats & Dogs (replace all the Laundry Stuff back to cats & dogs) then all I got is this message.
What did I screw up this timeeee 


So do I have to uninstall everything from start now 

You will always get this message when you degrade your game to a lower version.

Solution: Go to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 and delete the file GameVersion.txt

I've managed to get all the SP's & EP's installed & everything works fine!

Even though I had to follow these steps for the "contents of your user data" problem
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t20396-unable-to-start-the-contents-of-your-user-data-directory-were-created-by-a-newer-version-of-the-sims-4-updated-on-29-12-2015 before @Tarac's replies [which then resulting a black plumbob] which again; I know the source of the problem because I deleted the ((default.ini)) file on the first place. {so yeah, if anyone see my thread; don't delete the file! Just simply delete the ((gameversion.txt)) file!!}
