Freezing/Unclickable buttons. [SOLVED]

When I put items in my house, and then try to
switch back over to live mode to play, it doesn't do anything?? the
mouse does the round loading thing, but never actually loads into live
mode, then I have to quit game, and loose what I've been doing.. Not
only that but It happens in create a sim to.. even when I use a cheat
'testingcheatsenabled true' then hold shift and click on the sim, then
take them to CAS and once I've made changes press the tick (okay) and it
doesn't do anything? just stuck there, I can't quit or anything, even
when I open the task manager on my computer, It takes about 15 minutes
to exit..



I've tried removing all CC and mods (although I don't have many)
and I still have the issue.. There already added to my DEP.. I don't
know what else to do, this new update (1.29) has really ruined my game.
Not happy considering I waited really early in the morning to get my
copy of master suite stuff..

P.S I have all stuff packs and expansion packs.. (including the new ones)



Does anyone else have this issue, and or knows how to fix it?

::Edit:: I was looking at my game versions and the base game for the sims 3 is running version 1.28.. I think it should be 1.29, since I did the update & the fix provided.. Could that be causing it??

::Edit:: I fixed it.. the issue was base game was on version 1.28 and the exe was patched for version 1.29.. I just re did the ultimate fix..
