The Sims 4 Jungle adventures?

It looks like another GAME PACK (seriously, what's the difference between GPs and EPs?) has been announced! The Sims 4 World Adventures or Jungle Adventure as they call it now ( )

We will get a new town, new adventures (not really) and as always brilliant CAS items and build mode items.
It will release on February 27th!

Who asked for another rehash of old packs they had to do to prevent others from complaining?!
Another game pack? I think I'll pass... Boring stuff.

World Adventures in The Sims 3 looked so much fun! Maybe this will too. (my opinion!)

damn i was hoping for a island paradise type of adventure world, oh well it looks promising to a point

They did a livestream of this, its on youtube. Some of gameplay features and cas/build and buy. But Sims 3 WORLD adventures is an EXPANSION so what are we comparing here? Obviously expansion pack would win. 

Jungle adventure is smaller pack but from what i seen, its a good pack. not the greatest but not bad. 

If for a game pack, i would put up Parenthood and Vampires, both are solid packs must have.

@Scuxxx i also wish this would be a tropical beach vacation world. But this pack looks cool too in my opinion.

This might be a too late but a new gameplay trailer has been released!

From this trailer we can see how temples will work (not really), a new Archaeology skill, bug bites as well as the problem solving (much like World Adventures) it's also leaked this is going to be a vacation world just like in Outdoor Retreat GP.

Yes, regarding the question in your first post...I recall EA making some post about it, explaining the difference between GP and EP (most of it was nothing more than hot air though - a lot of words, but zero substance). Feel free to google the original source if you like.

But in essence a GP is a "scaled back"-EP. GP's introduce some new gameplay features, without adding a full new neighborhood. New destinations are like vacation destinations, indeed. You cannot to my knowledge stay permanently there.

I was wondering when they would finally put in a new vacation world. I am not gonna lie was also kinda hoping for a island/beach resort type one.

I also wonder if you can die from bug/spider bites, from that new DLC onwards...

Of course we will...but the communicative intention of my message above (as also indicated by the emoticon that I utilized) was to help enable a lighthearted/half-serious discussion on the various possibilities of death in the game, which have a tendency to be highly ridiculous.

Now, since your commentary on here tends to be more about the 'technical' side of things, this type of discussion may not be to your taste. And that is fine; you said it yourself on numerous occasions that the old Sims 1 game was more to your liking. But nonetheless maybe other users will recall the ridiculousness of certain in-game features in TS4. And that should also be part of a discussion Forum in the end.

Unsure if I want jungle adventures...I didn't install WA for sims 3...so not sure if I should get the version for sims 4....

When will g4tw release The Sims 4 Jungle Adventure expansion pack? It's about to be released today, 27th February and I am wondering when can we expect the files?

Wasn't a big fan of Sims 3 WA either, but I'll definitely try out the jungle adventures. The trailer for the pack didn't really hype me, they could do a better job and bring some sea or something to the sims but hey, I'll still give it a go.

Patience is a virtue and these guys here a really super quick and we can rest assured,that their version is good to go.

I couldn't find the new version 1-40-61 here. Since I don't use ZLOrigin, I could have used it. 
I have checked the Latest Games4theworld News and Editorials page and the last update is version 1-39. I have also checked the direct download link (Mega page) and the official download page.
Where exactly should I be looking for the new version 1-40-61-1020?

It is not out yet! It will be announced as soon as A CRACK becomes available and the guys from here checked it and eradicate existing problems. It can not be done over night!

I don't think that a separate update 1.40 will be issued by G4TW.
I guess it will be incorporated in Jungle Adventures.

Just checked the original Origin site and Jungle Adventures not yet available.

From the link about the issues the new patch version 1-40 gives with ZlOrigin I supposed it was already out and cracked.

ZL Origin does not supply cracked individual games, they have cracked Origin as such.

At least that is how I understand it.

Try to buy it via Origin - No luck, they don't even advertise it anymore.

Search the internet: yes Amazon still offers it as a pre-order (and of course a lot of fake-sites).

At this moment it is still not released. Problems with 64-bits and the error 3 ?. Well as even I could foresee these problems days ago, why not Electronic Arts/Origin ?

That is interesting though...there are a couple of copies of the DLC that have been released though, like to some YouTubers playing The Sims 4 (preview copies of games are oftentimes given out to selected few, as a kind of advertisement...to 'entice' people - specifically the people watching these YouTube videos - into buying things). 

Apparently there has also been a giveaway of the DLC according to the thread on the EA Forums.

There is a countdown on the Sims Community website. It says a little over 2 hours until the release.

I fear some last minute bugs.
After the update to 1.40.61.1020 I experienced some diificulties (warning) about the 64-bits as game played on 32-bits only inspite of starting 64 bits.
Also new and previous games could not be played and resulted in error 3.
