Cannot install past base game.

Hey all, I'm seeding and have looked through as many forum posts as I could read before posting here. I'm currently trying to install on a Mac (High Sierra 10.13.4), and have followed the installation guide for Macs to a tee. The Sims 3 Base Game has installed correctly, however once I try to install the first EP (World Adventures), I get an error window saying the version of The Sims 3 I'm trying to install on top of is not updatable and WA will not work with it. I am not given an option to ignore the message, and cannot install the EP in any other folder because of the base game requirement. If anyone has any recommendations for next steps, it would be much appreciated!

Unfortunately, we don't have anyone on the team at the moment who works with Mac. We will try to help as best as we can.

Did you get the base game from RELOADED? That is the one you need, for it to work with the expansions you can get from us.

I downloaded the game through the complete pack, so all files are fresh and new from that download.
