Villa Paraiso install not working?

Hi there, I was just trying to figure out if I'm missing something super obvious, I'm trying to install the Spanish Villa Paraiso set, and I keep getting the error that says I'm missing associated premium content.

I tried adding the package file to the library folder from the thread here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t32015-spanish-villa-paraiso-install-issue-i-need-help-solved but the launcher still won't let me install the sims3pack to get the items.

I also tried decrapifying the sims3pack, just in case that might be the problem but no dice. Is there anything else I could try? 

If it weren't store content I would try extracting the packages from the sims3pack, repacking as a combined package, and decrapifying, but I've heard various doom and gloom predictions about extracting packages from store content so I'm not sure if it's a good idea?

I couldn't get that .sims3pack working either. But we have a .package file here (click on the MEGA link, on that site).

Put that .package file under Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Library (!). Then it should normally show up under Edit-Town Mode, under the residential lots that are placeable. You should see that house, there.

I don't know much about extracting .packages from .sims3packs; I only did it once with hair colors.    I also know that you should be careful with worlds/neighborhoods, but if you needed more help with that, @Dracos66 can help you almost certainly.

Thanks @The_gh0stm4n, I was a little confused on that since I had already put that package file into my library folder and was hoping that once I did it would let me install the sims3pack. Does the package file have the items from the set as well or will they be replaced on the lot since I couldn't get the sims3pack to install?

What I sent you (I mean the .package file) is "just" the house itself. I actually couldn't tell right now if there are "more" items, beyond the house. 



If you know specifically what items are included, can you try placin down the house somewhere and then enter buy/build-mode? See if you can spot the items. Other than that I'm afraid I can't say more right now, I'm sorry.

@The_gh0stm4n no worries, thank you. I haven't been able to test it yet (I've been caregiving for a relative) but hopefully I'll have some time to boot up my game and have a look soon ^^

Download a fixed World for Isla Paradiso, see HERE and extract with Winrar
Put it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Island Paradise\Game\Data\Shared\NonPackaged\Worlds

The "Villa Paraiso" is for the most part a house/residential building, here:



The .sims3pack version of the file can't be installed because you end up with an error "the featured look has not been installed yet". But this set is for the most part really just this house. Maybe there are some re-colored objects as well. The above download link that I posted contains a .package file, which gives you said building. It can be installed without going through the launcher.

Has nothing to do with the world from the Island Paradise-expansion, even if the names look similar.
