Sims 4: My first pet stuff - files to delete? [SOLVED]
The installation guide informs us about some files that are advised to delete. Those are the following:
- RldOrigin.ini
- RldOrigin.dll
- RldOrigin_ext.dll
- RldOrigin_x64_ext.dll
- RldOrigin_x64.dll
In the update's Game/Bin folder, however, are no such files.
Am I misunderstanding something? Am I supposed to delete those files from my current (not updated) Sims 4/Game/Bin [which will be removed from the Sims 4 folder after updating], or should those files be in the update's bin?

Remove from your current, not updated Bin. Name the game file in your current installation folder to game_ and install new seasons. remember to copy paste the extracted files and override when prompted ( replace - yes)

Thank you very much! The thing is, my game has like 5 "Game_s" (Obviously with more or less "_"s). I bet that's going to cause a problem. I'm free to remove the already existing "Game_"s without any problem, right?
Pardon me if my questions are very "noob" questions, I installed the game with the help of a video, in which the uploader always renamed the Game folders and never deleted them.

Note that you only have to "rename the Game-folder" ONCE, and only once. I know this is very confusing for most users, but thanks to a former Moderator (see this here) who has created this epic mess, we all suffer the consequences now.
In case of future updates, no need to rename the Game-folder again; simply copy and paste the entire update over your Sims 4 installation. Problem solved, topic closed.
