Unable to follow instructions for Sims 4 Installation

I encountered the error where I could not get past the household loading screen and followed the suggested instructions in https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t29990-fix-for-endless-household-loading-error-code-3-game-starts-unexpectedly-in-spanish-version-1-44-83-1020#

However, I have Mac OS Yosemite and am using Wineskin, so I don't know if the suggestions to download and move the "fixed" /Game folder into my Sims 4 Wineskin wrapper is appropriate to do? I did it anyway but it actually gave me even more errors; now it won't even open the game and force closes it. 



Then I deleted the new folder to check if it would go back to normal and I guess I have to redownload the _Setup.exe? Does that mean I'm gonna have to go through and copy/replace all the DLC again?

I guess my main question is still what's the suggestion for Mac users? At this point, I don't even care about the DLC; I've been at this for 24 hours.

Well how did you install the rest of it? From what I see you've got only 3 DLC so you're missing a lot. And if you downloaded them from G4TW you should apply each release according to the guide.

@katmando, keep in mind that the main download link (from the thread that you linked to) ALWAYS contains the latest available Game-folder, as of right now version 1.44.83.1020. 

Scroll a bit down in the thread that you linked to. You will see older Game-folders. Please delete ALL your "Game"-folders in the TS4 install folder, and then try downloading the one for Jungle Adventures, in that thread.

I hope you didn't tamper too much with the installation, so I'll assume for now you only installed up to "Jungle Adventures" (GP05). But let's see.
